The CCRS Board of Education is made up of individuals committed to providing quality education at an affordable price for the Chazy community. Each member of the Board serves the district with the utmost respect for the long standing traditions of Chazy, while in addition searching for ways to further improve our school.

Through the hard work and dedication of the administration, faculty, and staff CCRS continues to strive for, and achieve excellence. June 2009 saw 96% of the student body pass the NYS Regents exams, with 50% achieving mastery level of 85% or higher. Since 2000, 92% of the Chazy student body has passed the Regents exams, with 41% attaining mastery level. In addition, the 2008/2009 NYS ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies exam results were once again outstanding. The continued excellence achieved on state exams comes from the combined efforts of our student body, their teachers, and families. The Board of Education is extremely proud of their achievements.

State exam results are only one indication of the excellence of the district. The achievements in the classroom, athletic fields, clubs, and the arts are also a great source of pride for the school. The contributions of every student are appreciated and encouraged. The Board of Education challenges each and every student to take pride in their school, and work to achieve their maximum potential. The Board of Education is committed to providing each student with the tools necessary to achieve success.

Special recognition must be given to the community of Chazy. Your continued support of each school budget, along with necessary capital projects, is greatly appreciated. With the current improvements being made to the district buildings, the Board is trying to achieve an environment in which our students and staff are comfortable, safe, and equipped to learn.

The CCRS Board of Education encourages your comments and concerns. The Board meeting dates are posted on the school website, and public comment is including in each meeting agenda. We look forward with great anticipation the start of another school year. The Board would like to thank Mr. Kevin Mulligan for his years of dedicated service to our school, and congratulate him on his retirement in June 2010.
