Be Safe! It is essential that you read the following pre-activity questions. If you answer yes to any of the questions it is essential that you seek advice from your GP before participating in any challenges. If you are not sure about whether your response to a question should be yes or no, please treat it as a “yes”.

• Has a doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and recommended only medically supervised activity?
• Do you have chest pain brought on by physical activity?
• Have you developed chest pain in the last month?
• Have you on one or more occasion lost consciousness or fallen over as a result of dizziness?
• Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be aggravated by the proposed physical activity?
• Has a doctor ever recommended medication for your blood pressure or a heart condition?
• Are you are through your own experience or a doctors advice aware of any other physical reason that would prohibit you from exercising without medical supervision?

Use your common sense; and if you are in any doubt, go to your doctor.

By registering you are confirming that you have either

1) Answered no to all of the questions above

Or

2) Having answered yes to one or more question(s) above you have discussed these points with your doctor and have been advised by your doctor that it is safe for you to participate.

If any of your circumstances change so that you would answer yes to any of these questions or that you would be unsure how to answer any of these questions that you immediately cease any form of physical activity and seek advice from your Doctor.
