2008 NYSSMA AREA ALL-STATE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Six C.C.R.S. students were selected for Area All State Choruses. They sang a challenging unaccompanied four-part audition piece from memory. This took three intensive weeks of practicing. Mikayla LaPorte and Katherine Tooke were selected for the Women's Chorus. Elizabeth Favreau, Sophie Foreman, Emily LaPierre, and Christine Spaulding were selected for the Mixed Chorus.

These student musicians prepared their music at Chazy, and traveled to Saranac Central School to join talented students from other schools for intensive rehearsals on November 21 culminating with a concert on Saturday November 22. Mr. Frisbie accompanied the Women's Chorus. These students have worked hard over the years to get to this point. Congratulations to them for their effort and achievement.
