Reflections:

Teaching time would increase for inclusion of scanning, and use of digital camera and digital video camera equipment only if additional software instruction was required (ie Adobe Photoshop Elements and iMovie). Simple inclusion of scanned documents and pictures would be included as part of day 3 instruction for sounds, pictures, and movies.

Overall, students enjoy the creative aspect of this unit.  Many of them will put many hours of additional time in beyond the allotted class time.  In addition, some students will utilize additional software not required, such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements.

It is extremely important that students understand that the PowerPoint is only an aid in the presentation process. Their speaking role must be constantly emphasis. Although instructed in the use of sound, graphics, and customized animation, they much be repeated reminded that they often hinder the process and many times must be avoided. Consistency and simplicity!
